Slack Integration¶
Route PartnerSignals co-sell signals directly to your Slack workspace.
What You Get¶
- Real-time signal notifications posted to a Slack channel of your choice
- Formatted signal cards with partner, account, opportunity, and recommended action
- Action buttons to mark signals handled or request a partner intro without leaving Slack
- Configurable routing — different signal types to different channels
Setup¶
Step 1 — Connect Slack¶
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Slack in the portal
- Click Connect to Slack
- Authorize PartnerSignals in your Slack workspace (requires workspace admin)
- Select the default channel for signal notifications (e.g.
#partner-signals) - Click Save
Step 2 — Configure Routing Rules¶
After connecting, set up routing rules to send different signal types to different channels:
| Signal Type | Suggested Channel |
|---|---|
| Co-Sell | #partner-cosell or #partner-signals |
| Overlap | #partner-signals |
| Pre-Intent | #partner-intelligence |
To add a routing rule: click Add Rule, select the signal type, choose a channel, click Save.
Step 3 — Test the Connection¶
Click Send Test Signal to post a sample signal card to your default channel. Verify it appears and that the action buttons are clickable.
Signal Message Format¶
Each signal posted to Slack uses this format:
🟡 New Co-Sell Signal — Acme Corp
Partner: CloudCo (Solution Provider)
Opportunity: Acme Corp Q3 Expansion · $240,000 · Proposal stage
Partner Touch: Intro call logged 2 days ago
Attribution: Co-Sell (estimated 35% weight)
Recommended: Sync with CloudCo rep this week

Signal type indicators:
- 🟡 Co-Sell Signal
- 🔵 Overlap Signal
- 🟣 Pre-Intent Signal
Action Buttons¶
| Button | Action |
|---|---|
| View Details | Opens the signal detail page in the portal |
| Mark Handled | Closes the signal with no specific action logged |
| Request Intro | Queues a partner intro request; your partner manager is notified |
Notification Preferences¶
Team members can configure their own notification preferences in Settings → Notifications:
- Receive DMs for signals assigned to you
- Opt out of channel notifications while keeping portal access
- Set quiet hours (signals still appear in the feed, Slack posts are delayed)
Troubleshooting¶
No signals appearing in Slack
- Verify the Slack connection is active in Settings → Integrations → Slack
- Check that the target channel exists and PartnerSignals has permission to post
- Confirm at least one routing rule is configured
- Check if signals are appearing in the portal feed — if not, the issue is upstream of Slack
Duplicate notifications
- Check for multiple routing rules that match the same signal type
- Each signal type should appear in exactly one routing rule
Action buttons not working
- Ensure your Slack workspace is on a plan that supports interactive messages (Free, Pro, Business+, Enterprise)
- Re-authorize the Slack connection in Settings → Integrations → Slack
