Crossbeam Integration

Connect Crossbeam to PartnerSignals to surface partner account overlap as co-sell signals.

Early Access

Crossbeam integration is in early access. Contact your PartnerSignals account team to enable it.

What It Does

Crossbeam provides secure account overlap data between you and your partners — without either party exposing their full customer list. PartnerSignals ingests this overlap data and converts it into actionable signals:

  • When Crossbeam detects that a partner has a relationship with one of your open prospects, PartnerSignals fires an Overlap Signal
  • These signals appear in your feed alongside Co-Sell and Pre-Intent signals
  • Attribution applies if the deal closes with confirmed partner involvement

Setup

Prerequisites

  • A Crossbeam account with at least one active partner population configured
  • PartnerSignals account with Crossbeam early access enabled

Step 1 — Connect Crossbeam

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Crossbeam in the portal
  2. Click Connect Crossbeam
  3. Authorize with your Crossbeam credentials
  4. Select which partner populations to sync (default: all active populations)
  5. Click Save

Step 2 — Configure Signal Thresholds

Overlap signals can be noisy if not filtered. Configure thresholds to surface only high-value overlaps:

  • Minimum overlap type: Customer, Open Opportunity, or Prospect (recommend: Customer or Open Opportunity)
  • Partner tier filter: Only surface overlaps from Tier 1 or Tier 2 partners
  • Deal value floor: Only fire a signal if the matched opportunity exceeds a minimum value

Step 3 — Review First Sync

The first Crossbeam sync may surface a large batch of overlap signals. Use the Bulk Review mode in your signal feed to triage efficiently:

  • Filter to signal type: Overlap
  • Sort by deal value descending
  • Mark handled for accounts already in active co-sell motion

How Overlap → Signal Works

  1. Crossbeam detects that Partner X has an active customer or prospect record matching your open opportunity at Acme Corp
  2. PartnerSignals receives the overlap event via the Crossbeam API
  3. PartnerSignals fires an Overlap Signal and routes it per your signal routing config
  4. If you log action on the signal (confirm co-sell motion with the partner), it escalates to a Co-Sell Signal and attribution tracking begins

Known Early Access Limitations

  • Overlap data refreshes every 24 hours (Crossbeam API limitation)
  • Some partner populations may require manual re-authorization in Crossbeam if sharing agreements change
  • Bi-directional overlap (you in their prospect list AND they in yours) is counted as a single signal

Contact your account team for the GA timeline and to report any issues during early access.
